FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: April 20, 2021, Orlando, Florida  – Precision Building Construction and Scott + Cormia Architecture & Interiors were engaged by the Orlando Regional Realtor Association in the design-build effort of the association’s new headquarters in Orlando, Florida. Located on the Orlando Executive Park Property, near Lee Road and Interstate 4, the building will encompass approximately 45,000 square feet of space.

Matt Cormia, Partner at Scott + Cormia Architecture and Interiors, noted “The idea in the design aesthetic was to be a contemporary look, with a playful use of materials and shapes; something that is visually pleasing, but not something that will be dated moving forward.”

The interior space is focused on wellness, with lots of natural light, and open, communal areas that are intended to encourage vertical flow and interaction throughout the building’s four levels. With in-house event space on the ground floor, the design also incorporates horizontal separation. The first floor is set up to greet the public, while the second floor will primarily cater to members’ services, which will enable the third and fourth floors to allow for seamless administrative and legal support.

As the official groundbreaking date approaches, Chuck Hobus, President of Precision Building Construction said, “We are proud and honored to have been selected by ORRA to design and build their future home.” Hobus also stated, “The area of Lee Road east and west of Interstate 4 has become increasingly desirable, with plans for shops, restaurants, hotels and office space. ORRA’s new headquarters plays an important part of the ongoing development that is rapidly changing the landscape of this area. It’s exciting for our team to be part of something that creates a lasting impact on our community.”

The groundbreaking will take place Wednesday, April 28th with construction commencing soon thereafter. Estimated construction time will be 18 months, allowing for the building to be complete and operational in Q4 of 2022.

Cormia also said, “With all of the architectural talent in this area, to be chosen by ORRA for this project is humbling. The relationships that we have established with the ORRA executive team and building committee, as well as Cliff Long and Amanda Ornelas, have been very rewarding and fun. l believe, as a team, we’ve all risen to the challenges of what this design has to offer and are hopeful that this is just the beginning of improvements for the Lee Road corridor and Lake Destiny Drive extension.”
