Liz earned a Bachelor of Design from the University of Florida (Magna Cum Laude) in 2006. Since then, she practiced interior design at one of Ray Scott’s architecture firms until the economic slowdown, when she left the sunshine state for a four-year stint in New York City. Liz specialized in retail store design and spent most of the time designing private brand “shops” within Macy’s department stores. She also traveled the country for three months overseeing the construction of nine boutique lifestyle brand locations, C Wonder. Liz enjoys designing retail, restaurant, and hospitality environments. Her experience has taught her about construction, management, making decisions on the fly, and packing light. She’s known for her organizational skills and love for “getting the job done right.” When she’s not designing (or bossing people around), you’ll find her at home with her husband, Billy, and children, Oscar & Wyatt, reading magazines or doing Pilates. Her favorite after hours activities are drinking wine and exploring a new city.
